Chuck Collins, is a senior scholar at the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS), where he directs the Program on Inequality and the Common Good. Collins has written extensively on the underlying levers that driver the growing wealth gap, and has pioneered efforts to decrease the gap. His most recent book, published in October 2025, is Burned by Billionaires: How Concentrated Wealth and Power Are Ruining Our Lives and Planet. His research for this book is the subject of the Feb 22nd interview.
